Light up a Memory

THE BRIEF
The focus of this new campaign will be the creation of a digital online representation of the Light up a Life event allowing supporters from different parts of the country and beyond to take part online. This campaign will optimise brand awareness and encouraging new supporters from slightly different demographics to find out more about both the hospice and the Light up a Life event.

THE SOLUTION
The campaign concept surrounds the creation of a virtual memory map. Visitors to the new campaign site will use the map to remember a loved one, in the same way that visitors to the event use a light on the tree. However, instead of lighting a light the visitor will pin a memory, (or light) to a special location; it might be the place where they were engaged, the beach where they had a memorable holiday, the garden of a family home, a favourite walk. This memory once created will symbolically represent the creating and lighting of a light.
